The Most Significant Relationship and Intimacy

I've noticed a trend in society.

We abandon who we are to do and achieve what the world is throwing at us. In the pursuit of finding "joy", we end up losing sight of who we are and what we want.  But when you take a 10,000-foot step back, you can see how it doesn’t make sense at all. Yet we take part in the daily hustle & grind, competing, achieving, and trying to get somewhere. We operate on the notion that once we do this or once we get that, then we will be happy. One more client, one more sale, one more promotion, one more move, one more degree. And then one day, we wake up to realize we've been going through the motions our entire life. Neglecting celebration, reverence, and reprieve. We're left exhausted, burned out, overwhelmed. We question how we managed to create a life that feels so out of alignment with who we are and our purpose.  And yet, we continue to take part.

Elizabeth Gilbert said in Eat Pray Love “Hadn’t I wanted this? I had actively participated in every moment of the creation of this life. So why didn’t I see myself in any of it?”

This is the point where we have a choice. Once you’re here you can’t unsee it. But you can go back to sleep.

She went on to say “The only thing more impossible than staying...was leaving. I didn’t want to hurt anybody, I wanted to slip quietly out the back door and not stop running until I reached Greenland.”

This was so relatable to me when I heard it. I myself had created a life that I wanted to escape from. I realized I never got to know myself. I participated in sacrifice and win-lose relationships and decisions. I created a life that looked good on the outside but did not FEEL good on the inside.

If you’re here, I get you. I see you.

And, you’re human. And it’s time to start prioritizing you, your wants, your dreams, your happiness.

It starts with getting to know you and creating a life that is an expression of you. This is how you can become ecstatic about your life. Get excited about your work, relationships, creations, all of it.

I would love to guide you through this journey of self-discovery. The moment when things shifted for me was when I discovered coaching.

Maybe for you it's booking the ticket, quitting the job, leaving the unhealthy relationship, telling that person you love them, starting the book, -- but hey, it's time. And I am here rooting for you!
